Sergei Tiourine is a Brooklyn-based designer with a decade of experience in the jewelry industry. After studying at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), he worked at David Yurman and Alexis Bittar, focusing on fine jewelry and technical design. Inspired by nature and the history of jewelry making in the ancient world, Sergei creates delicate pieces with unexpected details, including unique gemstones, organic and asymmetrical shapes, and subtle use of pavé diamonds and texture.
Sergei loves collaborating with clients on the design process to create a highly personalized and treasured piece. After drafting a customized design and modeling each work, he works closely with a group of trusted Manhattan-based small businesses, including casting companies, setters, gem stores, and lab-grown diamond foundries, to bring it to life. In addition to making jewelry, Sergei has assisted art fabricators with technical projects and taught courses in 3D design at Pratt Institute. In his spare time, you can find Sergei racing his bicycle or touring around the Northeast.
